Dr. Douglas A. Jansen, DDS
Dr. Doug graduated from IU-Bloomington followed by the IU School of Dentistry with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. After practicing in Southern Indiana for four years, he returned to Kendallville to join his brother’s practice in 1998. Dr. Doug enjoys getting to know the needs of each individual patient and providing them with detailed, expert dental care. He is continually improving his skills by attending continuing education seminars and lectures and by participating in the Isaac Knapp and Fort Dental Study Clubs. In his spare time, Dr. Doug enjoys working outdoors, old British cars, biking, and spending time with his wife Susan, and their two sons. He is currently involved with Rotary, the Noble County Community Foundation and the Kendallville Public Library Foundation.
Dr. Janaya L. Jansen, DDS
Dr. Janaya grew her passion for dentistry in high school while shadowing her uncles, Dr. Jim and Dr. Doug. She attended IUPUI for undergrad focusing on biology and achieved early admission into the IU School of Dentistry. After graduating in 2011, Dr. Janaya started practicing dentistry in Bloomington, Indiana. She married William Bernard in 2013, and they have three daughters, Evelyn, Caroline and Katherine and one son, Luke. Dr. Janaya and her family decided to leave Bloomington so that she could pursue her dream of working along-side her uncles to provide excellent care in the Kendallville community. Dr. Janaya acknowledges that being in the dental office can make patients anxious. She is committed to each patient's experience and needs. Dr. Janaya is also committed to seeking out new treatment options for her patients such as soft tissue laser therapy, including tongue and lip tie revisions, and is a provider of clear aligner (ClearCorrect) orthodontic therapy.
